The acquisition chatter continues, this time featuring social network Twitter. Here are the five technology stocks to watch Tuesday:

Twitter.[1]Re/code reports[2] the company is considering an acquisition of SoundCloud, the online audio service. SoundCloud has grown steadily[3] since it first launched in 2008. Last fall, SoundCloud revealed it topped 250 million users[4]. Shares of Twitter are up 1.2% in pre-market trading.

Microsoft.[5] The tech giant hosts an event in New York[6] on Tuesday, where it is expected the company will reveal two new Surface tablets. Analysts predict Microsoft will enter the mini-tablet market with smaller devices boasting a 7- to 8-inch screen.

Groupon.[7] The daily deals site launched Gnome, an iPad-based platform for merchants to use to redeem vouchers or as point-of-sale systems similar to Square Register. It's not clear when Gnome will be available, or how many retailers will use the service.

Netflix.[8] Netflix chief product officer Neil Hunt says the streaming media service will move away from its standard navigation grid in favor of more personalized recommendations, reports TechCrunch[9].

Google.[10] Although the company has yet to confirm a deal between its YouTube video site and video game streaming service Twitch, enterprise company Divide revealed[11] it has been scooped up by Google. Divide, which specializes in mobile app experiences for work, will work with Google's Android team.
