Meritrust Credit Union[4] has pledged $225,000 over three years to help fund outreach programs through Wichita State University’s[5] Center for Entrepreneurship.

WSU says the money will fund the Meritrust Business Booster Series — up to 15 weekly workshops, beginning Oct. 18, on topics such as finding capital, market analysis and branding strategies — the Meritrust Entrepreneurship Forum Series — a lecture series featuring nationally prominent entrepreneurs — and other outreach activities of the Center for Entrepreneurship.

A WSU news release[6] has more detail about the gift.

Josh Heck covers health care, legal services, professional services and education.
